Help Wanted: Data Visualization Design Jobs > Senior Data Visualization Engineer @ Netflix (Full-Time, On-site position. Hands-on D3 experience required)

Do you want to develop powerful data visualizations for a brand new, highly innovative system that has a huge impact at Netflix as well as high visibility as an open source project?

If yes, then read on.

At Netflix, we are developing a brand new operational insight system to deliver targeted, real-time insights into our complex, distributed operating environments, enabling us to make both incremental and transformational improvements to the streaming experience for our 38 million-and-growing customers.

The front-end of the system will be the key to its success and adoption. We want to build from scratch, an innovative web user interface – with dynamic, interactive data visualizations, using JavaScript and D3.

Are you interested in being the lead developer of these data visualizations?

You must have extensive hands-on programming experience with data visualization toolkits like D3 and be fluent in JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.

If you’re interested in this opportunity, please email the hiring manager Ranjit Mavinkurve at or apply here:

**Please note** This is a full-time position and requires on-site presence in Netflix headquarters in Los Gatos, CA. We do offer relocation assistance.

** Why is this opportunity special? **

- INNOVATION. No system of this kind exists in the industry. This is a complex project with hard challenges.

- OPEN SOURCE. Be a contributor! We will open source this system. See for our OSS projects.

- BRAND NEW system. You get to build a powerful insight system from scratch.

- HUGE IMPACT. You get to work in a small team on a high-profile project.

In addition to the above, we pay very well.
