There’s a great behind-the-scenes article on Fast Company Design by PopChart Labs about the effort that went into designing the poster: How Pop Chart Lab Made That Amazing Apple Infographic
I don’t think they realized it would have been easy to stay in OmniGraffle to finish it up. I don’t think there was any reason to move over to Adobe Illustrator to finish the design.
